Impressive!

Your animation's great again, and watching this, her face reminds me of Rose Quartz from Steven Universe. Definitely got me thinking it'd be cool to see you poppin up on some tv works someday ;)

cecameron responds:

Thank you! I already do TV animation full time but having my own thing someday is a dream of mine!

Muy bueno :D
And the face with that kiss is amusing on top of the adorableness ^_^

cecameron responds:

Why thank ya!!

Dude, I'd definitely enjoy a half-hour series of this. It started off only very briefly irritating because of Meyer's voice, but when you warm up to it, it's as strange as it is unique. My favorite things were him looking in the wrong direction still when the cop said "I'm over here" and the Altoids joke.

Honestly, this was very well done. I'd love to hear of more if you guys follow through with any more videos or teasers or etc. of this.

Tomorrows-Nobody responds:

GOOD NEWS! You can help make that a reality! Raising money for a pilot on Kickstarter right now: http://kck.st/1ScjtKb

It only violates rules if you sample more than 8 seconds from a non-public domain intellectual property copyrighted music as far as I know of, unless non-profit, and allowed by their licensing terms. Other than that, if this is your own work, then props to you. I can't even draw stick figures that well. lol

But I can't give this a high rating on drawing/animation techniques alone. I give you a 5/10, since that's really all I can give. Half is image, half is content, at least in this case to me.

LaurynShipplett responds:

Thanks, I agree with you on what you said. I threw this together in like 20 minutes just to see how newgrounds works since i've been using it for a while but never made an account. never really had a reason anyway.

This isn't the place for this. The forum would be a better way to ask for thoughts on this.

But I would say the second, and third if he were running to an imminent disaster.

Mega2416 responds:

Well it is testing, i do consider 2 and 3 as final product, or at least just in need of a few fix.i believe the video to still provide a small amount of entertainment.

Existentialism... I would expect more thoughts, something the least bit profound.

My only reason for complaining is that it's a topic of great importance for many people, leaving many of us to question, observe, and ultimately accept and reject based on our own preconceptions, misconceptions, and fears.

There's many a discussions that can and should be happening on the topic, that never do, because of the forced duality of the way we see things of enemies and allies. Most people are too primitive for such a conscious conversation. I suppose this video had to appeal to them as well, or it wouldn't have made it to the front page huh?

The drawings were fairly decent, the ending was good, and the voices were decent and dialogue comprehensible. so I will say good job in that respect. :)

urbfilms responds:

Hey, thanks for your review. The video wasn't really meant to be taken seriously, it was just supposed to be a comedy video, but thanks for taking your time to watch it.

I liked the different styles to them.
The toad one was interesting and cool in an odd out-of-the-ordinary way,

The baby one was cool, not because it itself was doing something cool, but that it seemed in its own way, to undermine the typical sense or popular sense of animation. If I was to compare it to any sort of film, I would compare it to when Bill Murray's character Frank Cross opens the robe of the Ghost of Christmas Future, on the movie "Scrooged".

Moonday had a sillyness akin to the asdfmovies, that normally I'm fond of, but just not in that fashion, though it was amusing at the end because it was senseless and out of human instinct or at the very least, blatant over-reaction.

The fly skit was good in the style reminded me of Ren and Stimpy, with the joke being a bit meh, but at the same time amusingly played out. Especially funny to think of somebody who doesn't know anything about preying mantises becoming confused. lol

The high-five skit was definitely my favorite, and reminded me of a youtube poop with Michael Rosen's finger friends.

Good job regardless. Well worth the watch!

YULFO83 responds:

Wow thank you so much for your feedback!

The toad Idea was just something I imagined every time I listened to dubstep or drum and bass kinda music.the track on that scene is by The Bloody Beetroots and the song is called It's Better A DJ On 2 turntables.

yes! Scrooged! great movie. I was going for more of an H. R. Giger. look

Moonday is based on a comment I made to a friend. I've been depress for awhile and I was talking to her and said "I feel like going to the moon and taking off my helmet. the image made me laugh.

the fly skit was supposed to be a longer short and it was mostly based on dudes at bars trying to understand the whole transgender thing but I didn't want it to come across as preachy. wanted to just have fun with it.

like the other shorts, High five was animated in one night. it almost wasn't made because I hate lip syncing and they say alot in 15 seconds. but I'm really happy with the way it came out.

thanks again for your comments!

Not bad. The animation's solid, though a few times it seemed a little pixelated. Not sure if I'm mistaken or it's coincidental. The amazing facts aren't really amazing, more so intriguing or interesting. I was hoping more for amazing facts in the sense of where that myth comes from, or originates. I also didn't even think of Death as in a personification when I saw the title, so I was amused that it caught me off-guard.

Needless to say though, Good job. You've earned that praise. :)

RebellionFA responds:

Thanks! The Amazing Facts is only the theme of the round, it doesn't need to be actual facts and more focused on just entertainment.

Wow. I'm not speechless but almost feel like it. I think I'm in love with this. :)

The art is breahtaking, the sounds, sampled, recorded, created, and however you may or may not have acquired and used them, as well as the music used therein, all come together for an amazing work of art. It was coming off as a stereotypical cookie-cutter sort of action cartoon, but then revealed its self to be so much more. A dramatic story-driven animation that just may have elements of psychological elements. I'm prepared for more, although it will undoubtedly take some time. And that photo at the end? Wow. Certainly a meticulously portrayed likeness. Your skills as an artist are by all means profound. If I had a fraction of this ability, I would be skyrocketing above the levels of content.

Keep up the good work, and I look forward to forgetting about this after a month or two, and then coming across it again later on and being mindblown. lol

aggimajera responds:

Once again, I appreciate the in-depth review.

And I'm sorry to disappoint, but ATM I have no plans to make more of "Crestfallen" videos (although I WANT to!). I have other projects planned though.

Thank you!

lol wtf?

It's pretty amusing, and it's funny because I don't know if the yellow cat is kicking dirt at the city or walking to it without moving lol...

And for some reason "F-k your life Wade" was funny.

3/5. (and I think that's fair.)

Make something funny and with a 'liiiittle' bit better of animation =]
Also both of the arms were behind the cat's head, how does that happen? lol

CultSyndicate responds:

It's a spoof on godzilla, so Yellow is trashing the fuck out of it.

The low quality uncoordinated sounds were intentional.

I dunno, I thought it was funny. I think there was a comic sense to the KK that a lot of people missed.

Beats, I make them.
Compliments, I take them.
Expectations? I hope to break them.
