It's pretty good, but in my opinion the speed/tempo is just a tad bit too fast for it. Maybe a little less than a 10% slowing might make it a bit better, but that part around 1:40 is pretty dang nice. The reason why I comment on the tempo, is because it feels like a thrash or speed metal tempo, and the guitar distortion is a bit grimey for those kinds of music. Still, I certainly appreciate what you've brought here. :)

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thank you for your kind words and honestly, I probably don't mess with guitar rig enough to get good tones, or even know if it's worth messing with to get good tones, It's really CPU heavy on me for some reason. I never tried slowing it down, but hey, if you download it you can slow it down, granted at a slight loss of quality, I'll try it slowed down if my brother ever wants to through vox on it, I'm just used to making things fast. Seriously though, it's hard to find that good, thick, nice sounding distortion in guitar rig, but maybe it's just me.

Thanks again^^

Very nice. Peaceful and eerie at the same time.Definitely a good track for some sort of "revelation". The wind is nicely done, as it stands out, yet it doesn't steal the spotlight of the ears, and that organ is fantastic. :)

I'm not sure if the game it's in is on NG or not, but I'd like to give it a shot if you could link me.

Calamaistr responds:

Its on steam, look up spaceport hope. :) thanks for the review and interest. -cal.

I like it, but the percussion's not to my taste. It's a dark, but homey kind of feel though.

Also, if when you export to .mp3, you can select the options to "Leave remainder", "Cut Remainder" or "Wrap remainder". If you're going for a loop, be sure to wrap it, to minimize silence. Keep working on the music. I think you'll bring some more new and interesting stuff about before you know it. :)

urbfilms responds:

Oh, okay! Thanks! I was wondering how to do that!
Also, upon listening to it a second time, the percussion is a bit too strong.
And thanks for both of your reviews! It means a lot that you took the time to view my content!

The very beginning made me think something very much ambient sounding, which is cool. For some reason reminded me of RJD2. I've just got into him as of late.

DetiousMusic responds:

I was gonna add some phasey pads but I never got around to it but it still feels a little ambient d:
Thanks for listeninggg

I haven't played but the beginning of seven unfortunately. However, this is beautiful. Love what you did. Are any of the instruments in fact authentic, or are they synthesized, because quite a few sound authentic, like the guitar before the solo kicks in. The flute is also really nice. :)

RyeGuyHead responds:

They are all Logic synths, but some of the sounds might be recorded samples for all I know. I did spend a lot of time mastering them to make it sound more authentic though :)

For instance, the flute part is actually played on two different synths. One had a quicker attack, but almost no sustain. The other sounded much better when the notes are being held out.

You should really finish the game!

Wow. This is amazing. Two great tastes that taste phenomenal together. It's a shame I just found this now. The long start was making me think it might not be as good as I was hoping, but it didn't just get good, it got great. I love how both of your styles made such a good mesh in this.

Anchorwind responds:

Well thank you. (as of this writing) There are 8 posted Anchorgrinder projects currently, with more likely to be posted later. You may find others interesting as well. Regardless, thank you for taking the time to write a review.

Not bad. I have to say, I think that it's got a good sound, but the piano would be really good if it were somehow distorted, either with a filter, some sort of reverb/delay, and quieted just a little bit. It kind of sticks out as the most prominent sound in the song, and by the end of it, its own repetition makes the song feel more repetitious than it actually is. Know what I mean?
I'm curious as to what you use to make your tunes though. I like sound of the drums for sure.

Werewolfrx responds:

I Agree with you, the piano is really kind of ''bland'', I like to use filters on my drums to make them sound more flat. hey man thanks for listening too, means a lot

A good catchy beat, with a nice atmosphere and soft melody. Got a good hip-hop sound in my opinion. Only complaint is that synth that comes in at 0:35. It's rough mang. =\
Loving the piano though. Goes with that beat like nobody's business. :)

Werewolfrx responds:

Thank you very much for you're criticism, I understand exactly what you mean, I didn't know it was going to be that rough, thanks for pointing it out though!

Man. A very dancey track, quite good, the gate-like instrument in the later half usually a kind of sound I'm not particular fond of, because I feel it's overused, but it works great here. The beats were sick, and I love the bassy kick, commonly associated with hardstyle. The melody is great and I love the filtered intro synth. :)

Anchorwind responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed. There are frequent hardstyle influences spattered throughout various pieces. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Beats, I make them.
Compliments, I take them.
Expectations? I hope to break them.
