Nice dude. I dig the sound used for percussion later on, that "woo-woo" sound.

I picture a platformer game with Feudal Japan at night backdrop, with stalagmites and stalactites serving as a background, as you're entering a new territory in a transitional level.

This gives me vibes of a previously "sick" or "hidden from the public" king revealing himself only mid-conversation to find out that he's been meticulously crafting a pandemonium and now he's ready to go mask off and be the ultimate big bad in the story.

Hell yeah dude! I love this, and these sounds are solid af! Everything works together so damn well

Love the sounds, and love the love for past projects. I can just picture ships flying in a race above the clouds, towers with tattered flags on the tips of weathered antennas just barely poking through the surface. Like a space-traveling post-civilization, not quite dystopia.

Keep it up 😁

Nice cute sound! Totally gives a great vibe for a game like Animal Crossing to me. Loops really well too

Thanks! That's kinda what i'm going for haha :)

That's pretty cool. I like the lively energy and good use of sounds. The vocal samples also manage to mix in pretty well too πŸ™‚

Hello !
Thank you for this review !
Yeah, that vocal sample was a pure "hasard", I found it in an old folder (it's a bit out of tempo though).

Definitely love the "ring sound" of the synth that comes in and the percussive elements you got that drop out toward the end. Some pretty cool sound choices

Daaang, that definitely is some catchy awesomeness right there! 😁

What do you use for a DAW?

X-500 responds:

From plugins here - HIVE VST

Nice tune my dude! I'm a sucker for the fluttery sounds and a lot of sounds you use in this remind me of the 80s-90s and make me imagine some sort of cop driving off in the sunset in some sort of delorean or other time-related car.

I don't if this would fit what you were going for here, in terms of sound or style, but I was thinking if you had that part just before that breakdown there around 1:20 where the flutter sounds a little glitchy, just like how it does at the end, happen again a little more pronounced before that beat comes in before the end, and give it a little more time to enjoy that awesome melody and beat. You could probably do something like bringing in some extra percussive hits like splashes and low-pitch claps to add a crunch factor, and something of a bassy boom or explosion or something for the fade out to fit the excitement the song had been giving.

Just a few ideas, but don't let that take away from the fact that I really enjoyed it!

Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave such a nice review. I like your ideas and i could have definitely used something like what you mention to add more diversity to my track and keep it fresh. I'm glad you liked the song. Thanks again :)

Oooh! I dig this! The bass is so deep and booming and the percussion sounds great!
What did you use for your bass? I want to get more into using bass that gets deep but doesn't lose its clean like that. Also, really like the percussion changes there towards the end.

NikoN1nja responds:

Thanks for review :)

The bass wasn't really a bass though, it was made using 2 presets:
"808 Bounced" from FLEX;
"BA Ampology" from Serum

Beats, I make them.
Compliments, I take them.
Expectations? I hope to break them.
