Holy Godamn Martin!

Jeez man that shit is loud! Fucking had to turn volume down almost half as high as it was. But other than the scary ear hurting, it's pretty goddamn cool. Very Nice Riff, love the pounding bass you got there, and the percussion/Bass/kick drum as well. Not too fond of the siren, but that could be just me. Like the later synth thrown in, nice and refreshing, and very lively. May I ask sir, what you're using for your badass bass/kick?

I like it much sir.(the song I mean)

Not too fond of the (I'm guessing it's a filter) that makes the random notes get even louder lol. Nice work with this though sir.

Lalalo14 responds:

hahah thank you :D
sorry for hurting your ears!

The Kick is Clubby 031 from the Vengeance Essential Club 3 pack
and the bass is from a Nexus Addon pack that I tweaked a little and added a sidechained basslike pad to give the little extra touch to it :)

A bit too slow..for me

But I'm not into Dubstep. So perhaps you're doing it right. I can't say. I kind of like the piano, but E-piano doesn't catch the beauty a real piano has, at least in my opinion it doesn't. Not much Else I can say other than that. Some of those riffs, and synths were quite good, but also repetitive.

Oh dear. i'm sensing...

You're using FL studio... Some effects are pretty cool.
Some of it's complete jibberishy nonsense to me. I'm not fond of whatever style it is you're going for, and The percussion's pretty bad. Don't use the crappy given snare, and hats. They suck. lol If you do at least pogo a tad, or change some levels on them. I like the piano, and kind of like what you did with the voice, and the weird effects going on.

Also being a dance-ish song I recommend a clap, rather than a snare. try that out.

Oh my god!

I love this! the sweedish/finnish polka... love it.
You did a good job here my friend. Some of the sounds get a bit too loud, but quiet again. I think it could be because of the background synth. I would reccommend using a slight filter on the lead synth,

Drums are okay, but it's kind of bland.

Not to be rude, or anything, but it doesn't seem like you tried very hard on anything other than the drums. I suggest a re-do.

bremmers responds:

ok apreciate your comment

i dont know how to delete song and stuff :S

ill try to work on it ;)

Oh man...

Hard to explain....

Feels intense, and pretty at the same time... feel all like kicking ass and going... awwww at the same time XD

I don't know how you came up with this sir, but it is most excellent. I can't even think of anyway to comment on its brilliance, in anyway to help it become better.

Great job. :P

SFaPiL2 responds:

Ha ha ^__^. I know, it's a strange combination of instruments (and feelings).

Some people might not appreciate, but who cares. I just felt like doing something slightly different from what everyone else does here in NG... y'know, those ultra-bass heavy metal boss-battle songs.

Thank you for the awesome score and compliments ^o^.

Fuckin' sick.

Would like see what the result wil be. Wonering also what would go with because of how good it is, but as well as its being good, its almost relaxing, but with a beat until the loud middle comes in which is awesome.

So far with what ya got, I give it a 4/5 8/10

Good luck at making something great!

HarvestThrone responds:

Thanks!! Glad you liked it :D

Ah I see it says it's a remake.

Yet unfortunately I've never heard the original. What I must say is that I feel the original couldn't be any better than this man. Great work here, your expertise is stunning. Would go great as a background for like megaman or sonic lol. Are you taking requests for other songs? =P

OmegaManZX responds:

Thank you!

Yes, I take requests. If you have a request, you can send it to my in a private message.

Well one problem I can point out....

It's drum and bass...yet it seems it's mostly revolving around the drums. In fact they were a little too loud, so I couldn't really focus on much else, unless that's the point with Dnb no idea. Yet I have to say with some louder synths and bass this would most likely be some cool shit. Also, about a minute in, the drums were kind of obnoxious in my opinion... Would it be wrong of me to suggest (knowing that I know nothing of dnb) to have a mellow part, followed by a breakdown of some sort? Maybe toss in some other snares, or some toms? sounds like it'd be cool to me :P

LavitzSlambert responds:

Frankly, I am not a DNB expert myself, but from what I've heard from people, DNb, as its title implies, revolves mainly around drum. Usually also, the rest is mainly the bass or other small percussions, sometimes a synth. A description I got from DNb is: imagine you have huge subwoofers, well you have to feel the drums blast you off totally yea.

As for the way I did it, I guess I could've used different snares and toms, but doing DNB beats isn't as simple as it may seem. I mean if you wanna do them from scratch. I used a sample which I sliced and modified according to what I wanted to have. And, generally DNB use relatively the same beat throuhout the whole song, but varie more on the rest, like I did ^^.

Lastly, DNB is a genre that is not appreciated by everyone^^ I can understand perfectly if you like it more or less or not at all ^^

But, you're feedback is very welcome and I appreciate the comment, thank you
have a good one
-Lavitz

P.S.:A DNB expert could give ya more info on that ^^, I tried my best to explain.

Sounds kinda good...

Sorry it sounds kinda good, and not really good. The notes sound kinda mixed up. The percussion thing is perfectly fine, in fact if you like that, I suggest Andy Mckee, he does a very similar thing, and make that part of his music.

A lot of the notes sounded like they were either out of tune or played by accident. Try this again, just work a little bit harder at this, and I'm sure you can make something great out of it.

Goh-Akumi responds:

Appreciate it. As I said, I recorded this months ago. And, I'm aware of Andy McKee, he's one of my favourite musicians. Nonetheless.
I appreciate your input.
I would try it again, but the problem is, it was a purely improv session, that is, every single part of it, from the harmony to the lead to the bass-type voice.
The only thing that is easily redoable is that pulse of percussion.
But thanks, I will keep these things in mind.

Beats, I make them.
Compliments, I take them.
Expectations? I hope to break them.
